We offer events dedicated to community building in the food industry sphere that are intended to:
- Build pride in our Northern Colorado food system
- Bring together food, beverage, agriculture and ancillary services actors to connect and foster collaboration
- Provide education and learnings about food-specific topics as well as general good business practices
Building It is a quarterly industry event focusing on a theme in the food and beverage industry. We invite founders, entrepreneurs and innovators in the food and beverage sector to share their stories behind the businesses movements they built. We will celebrate their success, but also discuss the challenges that they faced as they built their organizations (based on NPR’s How I Built It podcast). This series will raise awareness about our thriving local businesses and the challenges they face, as well as serve as a resource for our region’s aspiring entrepreneurs to identify opportunities in our local agri-food supply chains. Each event features one to four businesses with a moderated discussion around a theme. After the event, there will be time for questions, tastings (if presenters have products to try) and networking.
Our mission at the Northern Colorado Food Cluster is to celebrate and grow community awareness and pride for our thriving local agriculture, food, beverage, and supporting agri-food supply chain businesses. Whether you run a brewery or bakery, farm or ranch, distribution or processing firm, we are here to bring in resources and information that can help you run your business and promote our region’s agri-food system.
